We had heavy showers here yesterday and got 18 mm (slightly less than 4/5 ths of an inch) of rain within two hours. I was just about to start writing here when the sun broke through so I took the dogs for a walk instead.
Everything was wet and slippery in the forest and I did slip slightly every now and again when we were out there but really didn’t think much about it. I did later in the evening though when I suddenly couldn’t move my back without feeling the pain of death 🙂 🙂 🙂 It’s actually not the back itself that hurts like h..l, it’s a muscle to the far left rather low down that must have been badly stretched.
It hurts just as bad today and it is of course most bad when I’ve been sitting down for a while. So I’ve taken the dogs for a short walk this morning and when Albin pulled the leash I told him in not so many words but with the sound of impending death in my voice that he wouldn’t get much older if he did it again 🙂 🙂 🙂 He got the message 🙂 🙂
So today I’ll treat my back with heat and I’ll try to move around as much as possible in between. Yes I am at home if You wondered 🙂 🙂 Lifting 20-25 kg (44- 55 pound sacks with powder paint while bending the back is not something I should do today 🙂 🙂 I’m afraid they would have to carry me out on a stretcher if I tried that 🙂 🙂 🙂
The kitchen door is open even though it still is a bit chilly. The temperature will reach just below 20C (68F) as warmest today and even though autumn still really hasn’t arrived it does feel like it has. Lots of mushrooms I don’t recognize has stareted to show so now I’m just waiting for the ones I do know and can eat. One can never have too much mushrooms in the freezer. If for nothing else so to make a stew and have them on sandwiches 🙂
Have a great day!
